		Teleconferences The Stark Diabetes Center conducts conferences and continuing medical education programs using telehealth technology. The twice-monthly conferences serve as forums for health care practitioners to discuss the latest therapies and discoveries about diabetes.   Archived Teleconference:   Depression and Diabetes: The Connection between Mind and Body Tawny Bettinger, Pharm.D., Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice, UT Austin February 20, 2007 12:00-1:00 P.M. Levin Hall 5th Floor Watch archived presentation (requires Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player) Objectives: At the conclusion, participants should be able to: Discuss the relationship between depression and diabetes. Discuss ways to detect depression in the diabetic patient. Discuss depression treatment options for a diabetic patient.   Accreditation Statement: The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
